Terms of Service

The agreement between you and ReviewBoost — what the service does, what you may and may not do with it, and how billing works.

Effective September 1, 2026

1.This agreement

These Terms are a contract between you and ReviewBoost, the operator of ReviewBoost. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company, and “you” means the company.

Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement. Please read it too — it explains what we do with your data.

2.What the service does

ReviewBoost lets you:

  • Send review requests to your customers by email, SMS or WhatsApp, and track whether they were opened and clicked.
  • Generate QR codes that link to your review form.
  • Connect a Google Business Profile to import reviews and publish replies.
  • Get AI-generated reply suggestions that you review and edit.
  • See statistics about your rating and response rate.

We improve and change the product continuously. We may add, modify or remove features. If we remove something significant from a paid plan, we will give you reasonable notice and you may cancel for a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

3.Current availability

The service is in a limited testing phase

Sign-in is currently restricted to approved email addresses, paid plans are not yet active, and features may change or break without notice. The service is provided during this phase for evaluation only and without any availability commitment. Do not rely on it as the sole record of your review activity.

4.Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, for keeping your password secret, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@reviewboost.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

One account is for one business unless your plan explicitly includes multiple locations. Don't share credentials with people outside your organisation.

5.Plans, trials and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of review requests and a maximum number of locations, shown on the pricing page. Allowances reset at the start of each billing month and do not roll over.

  • Trial. New accounts get 14 days free with no card required. If you don't subscribe, the account simply stops at the end of the trial — you are never charged automatically for a trial you didn't convert.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not pro-rate partial months except where the law requires it or where clause 2 applies.
  • Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price increase affects you, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails we may suspend the account after notifying you and giving you a chance to fix it.
  • Taxes. Prices exclude VAT and any sales tax, which are added where applicable.

6.Acceptable use

Review integrity — the rule that matters most

ReviewBoost exists to help you ask real customers for honest feedback. It is not a tool for manufacturing reputation. You must not use it to solicit fake reviews, write reviews on behalf of customers, offer discounts, gifts, entries into prize draws or any other incentive in exchange for a review, or ask only satisfied customers to leave one while steering unhappy customers elsewhere.

These practices breach Google's review policies and consumer protection law in most countries, and they put your Business Profile at risk of removal. We terminate accounts that do this, without refund.

You also agree not to:

  • Message people who have not given you a lawful basis to contact them, or who have asked you to stop.
  • Send spam, or anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing or obscene.
  • Upload contact lists you bought, scraped, or otherwise did not collect yourself.
  • Impersonate another business, or manage a Business Profile you are not authorised to manage.
  • Attempt to breach our security, probe our infrastructure, scrape the service, or circumvent plan limits.
  • Resell or white-label the service unless your plan expressly allows it.

You are responsible for complying with the messaging and marketing laws that apply to you and your customers — including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, the TCPA and WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy, depending on where you operate.

7.Your content

Your contacts, message templates, business details and review replies remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit that content strictly to operate the service for you — for example, to deliver a message or publish a reply to Google.

You are responsible for having the right to upload every contact you add, and for the content of every message you send. AI-suggested replies are drafts: you choose whether to publish them, and once you do they are your words, not ours.

8.Third-party services

The product connects to services we do not control — Google Business Profile, email and messaging providers, and AI providers. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms.

If a third party changes, limits or withdraws its API, some features may stop working. We will do what we reasonably can to adapt, but we are not liable for a third party's outage, policy change or decision to suspend your access to their platform.

9.What we don't promise

No guarantee of reviews, ratings or rankings

We cannot control what your customers write, whether they write anything at all, how Google ranks your business, or whether Google keeps a given review published. Nothing in our marketing is a promise of a particular number of reviews, a particular rating, or improved search visibility. Results depend on your business and your customers.

10.Availability and support

We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not commit to an uptime figure. We may take it down for maintenance, and we will try to do so outside peak hours where the work is planned. Support is provided by email at support@reviewboost.com during business days; higher plans get faster response targets as described on the pricing page.

11.Our intellectual property

The software, design, branding and documentation of ReviewBoost belong to us and are protected by intellectual property law. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active. You may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer or create derivative works from it, except to the extent the law says you may despite this clause.

12.Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, if your use puts our infrastructure or other customers at risk, or if we are legally required to. Where circumstances allow, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

After termination you have 30 days to export your data, after which it is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law — do survive.

13.Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Nothing here excludes any warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded — consumer rights under mandatory local law are unaffected.

14.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost goodwill, even if advised such damages were possible.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred (100) euros if you paid us nothing.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

15.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, from the content of messages you send through the service, or from your use of contact data you were not entitled to use. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you control the defence, provided any settlement releases us fully.

16.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product and the law change. For material changes we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the dashboard. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new Terms; if you don't, you may cancel before then.

17.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jurisdiction pending — update before launch, and the courts of Jurisdiction pending — update before launch have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.

Before starting formal proceedings, please email legal@reviewboost.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly. Most things get sorted out that way.

18.Contact

Questions about these Terms go to legal@reviewboost.com or through the contact form.
